Roller Derby is not just about skates and jamming. BDR has already involved themselves in the Bangor community. This year they have chosen Spruce Run as the organization to primarily focus on. Part of the requirements to be part of the derby team is to do a certain amount of community service per month and has ranged from raising money for Halloween costumes for children to working with Z107.3 to get 2,011 turkeys this year. The spirit of derby is present on and off the track!
